Abstract

In order to provide an effective antispam and antivirus service to support the email servers delivered at C.N.R. - Area della Ricerca RM1 we setup a clustered installation of Mailcleaner, an open source suite based on Mailscanner. Here we will describe the features of the product, the setup activity, the configuration of all components, the interaction with the email servers and the tools used to monitor all the architecture. For further information about Mailcleaner and Mailscanner refer to the websites of both projects [1-2] (Technical report IC 13/10 registered with protocol number IC/1880 20/12/2013).
